Real estate developer Concord Pacific has turned to me numerous times to create ad, advertorial and brochure copy for its various real estate development projects in the Metro Vancouver area. My ability to create content regardless of the subject is a reason clients engage me for their copy writing needs.
I’m the only external content creator and editor for Centennial College's Marketing and Communication's department, which means I’m responsible for the school's entire database of programs and its corresponding print materials. My copywriting is a key component to my client's success.
Since 2009, I’ve also been a content developer, blogger and editor for other projects within the institution's various departments, including Centennial College Libraries, experiential learning program Design Jam, and the Centennial College Health and Wellness department.
In my role as freelance research writer for McMaster University's Michael G. DeGroote School of Business, I interviewed and wrote about researchers conducting studies in a wide range of business areas, research events and innovative studies, and other such success stories. I also completed a series of profiles about health innovators and researchers who have commercialized their work for the School of Medicine's Michael G. DeGroote Initiative for Innovation in Healthcare.
I work with StarMetro Media, Toronto Star and Post Media clients whose ad packages include bonus editorial content. Since 2015, I’ve worked with and created content for hundreds of clients, including The University of Toronto, Etobicoke General Hospital, Mattamy Homes, Lexus, Nissan and Vancouver Foundation. The scope of my sponsored content writing expanded in 2018 when I became a regular contributor to Post Media. Here I work with clients as wide ranging as school boards, retailers, festivals, home renovation companies, real estate developers, and medical facilities to indirectly market various their messages and campaigns in a journalistic fashion.
As a former journalist, my published work dates back to 2003. My ability to write about any topic, understand how to get messaging across and execute copy that is engaging comes from my extensive reporting career.
Anthony Anderson (pictured), Lady Gaga and Drake are among the A-list celebrities I interviewed as a contributor to HOLR magazine and editor-in-chief of pop culture publication CreamWorld magazine. I have honed my ability as a versatile interviewer by speaking with these and other celebrities such as Good Charlotte and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.
